Beginning on February 14th, the Annual Giving Office will be tabling in Ohio Wesleyan’s Hamilton Williams Campus Center for the kickoff of the annual We Are OWU campaign.
They will be in the HWCC Atrium at noon on the 14th and 15th where students will have the chance to spin the wheel to win prizes such as limited edition OWU socks! Other prizes include candy hearts, t-shirts, magnets, and calendars. There will also be a Giant Jenga game, a personalized chain-link drop, and more!
Why should students care about We Are OWU?
During We Are OWU, students have the opportunity to give back in a way that is meaningful to them. Donors help keep OWU experiences accessible and affordable to every student on campus. 10% of everything that happens on campus comes from the Annual Fund. This includes fun events, for example, We Are OWU, which builds a community among our supporters and strengthens the spirit and tradition at OWU. It allows Alumni and friends to see what students are up to and what their support allows them to do. We Are OWU also gives students the chance to win FREE prizes!
What is Giving Day?
We Are OWU is an opportunity that comes once a year where the OWU community, including current students, alumni, members of the Delaware community, and faculty and staff come together to celebrate Ohio Wesleyan and its students. Giving day allows OWU students to show their pride and create an impact. Philanthropy makes every student opportunity possible including scholarships, programs, and curriculum.
