Downtown Delaware, Ohio holds “First Friday” on the first week of every month. OWU students can enjoy carnival-like activities with peers and members of the Delaware community!

“Nothing beats the hot peanuts,” said Ohio Wesleyan sophomore Anthony Fresolone.

First Fridays take place in downtown Delaware, and everyone is welcome to come. You can find an abundance of stands with food, drinks, children's activities, and various games for everyone to play.

“Being able to walk down the street and see all the people that make up our community is a warm and great feeling,” said Ben Buroker, an Ohio Wesleyan junior.

Buroker has been going to First Fridays during his time at OWU, and even though he doesn’t go to every single one, he knows how beneficial they can be for the community.

Students from OWU can meet locals of Delaware, as well as business owners in Delaware and Central Ohio to get more accustomed to the area.

“If my friends and I don’t have anything going on, we will make dinner plans and go to a few of the stands,” said Fresolone.
